What an evening of powerful storytelling and insightful conversations!
Akriti Dhungana @_akreeti shared how her film began as a poem and how that transformed into a profoundly moving story. Deepa Shrestha @deepashresthaa spoke about why she chose not to show faces, as the story wasn’t tied to a single narrative but reflected a larger truth about Indigenous land, culture, and the ongoing fight for justice.
The discussions, the passion, and the energy in the room reminded us why we do what we do at Nepali Female Filmmakers, and we’ve never felt more excited and inspired! 💛
