कथाकारिता कार्यशाला नेपालका विविध तथा कम प्रतिनिधित्व भएका समुदायका युवा तथा उदीयमान कथाकारहरूका लागि सिर्जनात्मक सिकाइको साझा मञ्च हो। यस कार्यशालाको उद्देश्य सहभागीहरूलाई आत्मचिन्तन, संवाद, सिर्जनात्मक अभ्यास तथा सहकार्यात्मक सिकाइमार्फत व्यक्तिगत र सामुदायिक कथाहरू अन्वेषण गर्न प्रेरित गर्नु हो।
 
यस कार्यशालामा सहभागीहरूले सम्झना, पहिचान, संस्कृति, जीवन अनुभव तथा सामाजिक यथार्थजस्ता विषयहरूमाथि छलफल गर्दै लेखन, मौखिक कथावाचन, दृश्य अभिव्यक्ति तथा डिजिटल माध्यममार्फत् कथा प्रस्तुत गर्ने विभिन्न विधिहरूबारे सिक्ने अवसर प्राप्त गर्नुहुनेछ। यो कार्यशाला फरक अनुभव र पृष्ठभूमिका व्यक्तिहरूका लागि हो । यसमा सहभागी हुन अनुभव अनिवार्य छैन।
 
हामी विशेष रूपमा महिला, दलित, मधेसी, आदिवासी, जनजाति, थारु, मुस्लिम, यौनिक तथा लैङ्गिक अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय, ग्रामीण तथा सीमान्तकृत समुदायका व्यक्तिहरूलाई आवेदन दिन प्रोत्साहन गर्दछौं। तपाईंले आफूलाई सहज लाग्ने कुनै पनि भाषामा यो आवेदन फारम भर्न सक्नुहुन्छ। यदि तपाईं लिखित रूपमा आफ्नो उत्तर दिन असमर्थ हुनुहुन्छ भने, आवेदनका प्रश्नहरूको जवाफ समेटिएको छोटो भिडियो पनि prasuna@shantanepalifoundation.com मा पठाउन सक्नुहुन्छ।

Storytelling Workshop is a creative learning space for young people and emerging storytellers from diverse and underrepresented communities across Nepal. The workshop aims to help participants explore personal and community stories through reflection, discussion, creative activities, and collaborative learning.

Participants will engage with themes such as memory, identity, culture, lived experiences, and social realities while learning different ways of telling stories through writing, oral storytelling, visual expression, and digital media. The workshop welcomes people with different experiences and backgrounds, and no prior storytelling experience is required.

We strongly encourage applications from women, Dalit, Madhesi, Indigenous, Tharu, Muslim, LGBTQ+, rural, and historically marginalized communities.
