Janakpurdham, Nepal – The provincial launch of the Voices of Change: Building Futures Through Creativity, Identity, and Action in Nepal project was held in Janakpurdham. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by FCA Nepal, Dalit Lives Matter Global Alliance, and the Shanta Foundation.Voices of Change: Building Futures Through Creativity, Identity, and Action in Nepal.

The project aims to create opportunities and safe spaces in the cultural and creative sectors for women, Dalits, Indigenous peoples, and sexual and gender minorities.
At the event, Madhesh Province Speaker Ram Ashish Yadav said the initiative would help strengthen Nepal’s federal democratic republic through inclusion and participation.

Ram Bharose Kapadi, Chairperson of the Madhesh Academy, said the project would help amplify marginalized voices and promote greater inclusion in the creative sector.
The event was attended by representatives from the provincial and local governments, artists, youth, media professionals, and civil society organizations. Participants stressed the need for greater collaboration and investment to expand Nepal’s cultural and creative industries and create opportunities for social and economic change.
