Our goal is to create a better and more inclusive society.

The Shanta Foundation, established by Shanta Nepali, is committed to empowering marginalized communities, particularly women, through storytelling, creativity, and cultural engagement. By using art, visual media, archives, research, and collective memory, the Foundation amplifies diverse voices and preserves stories that inspire dialogue and social change.

With a focus on education, health, gender equality, sustainability, social justice, and cultural preservation, the Foundation works to strengthen communities and build a more inclusive society. Its work also contributes to creating an enduring archival record that celebrates the histories, knowledge, and creative expressions of women and marginalized communities for future generations.
